The Opportunity

We're looking for an Asset Manager, working in the Real Estate industry in Waltham, Massachusetts, United States.

  • Works within financial budgets, and regularly update projections for material changes.
  • Produces property financial reports for internal review on a regular basis.
  • Presents on property financials to the Partners and Asset team on a regular basis.
  • Reviews draft budgets, with particular focus on the accuracy of leasing and capital assumptions, as well as reimbursement calculations.
  • Coordinates with the property manager in finalizing the budgets.
  • Prepares draft and final property business plans incorporating budget, leasing, capital and valuation assumptions, as well as a summary of the relevant real estate market.
  • Manages post-acquisition activities, ensuring the successful incorporation of asset into the firm's ownership portfolio, including hiring and overseeing third-party management firm(s) for all properties.

The pay range we are offering is 85,000 to 90,000 per year.

Experience Required for Your Success
  • Bachelor's degree (Certification in real estate concentration or accounting preferred)
  • 3+ years in residential real estate
  • Experience in property management, asset management, or portfolio management
  • Significant residential property management experience required 
  • Knowledge of real estate software programs, including experience leveraging both Yieldstar and Yardi
  • Passion for real estate investment, management, and development, with a strong work ethic and dedication to excellence
