We're looking for a Electrical Engineer III, working in the Electric Power & Natural Gas industry in Tulsa, Oklahoma, United States.
Review relay protection and control activities for 4kV thru 765KV electrical substation projects.
Review P&C scopes for electric substation projects.
Prepare and/or review P&C engineering and designs for electrical substation projects.
Participate in project scheduling, resource planning, and cost control for assigned projects.
Provide engineering support for project installation, commissioning, checkout and troubleshooting.
Review and approve P&C related work of other team members.
Model transmission system impedances and perform short circuit fault studies.
Perform area protection studies and recommend settings for existing and new transmission line and station protection schemes.
Review, evaluate and provide P&C comments and recommendations on transmission system planning proposals.
The pay range we're offering is 46 to 47 per hour. This position may present an opportunity to go permanent.

Experience Required for Your Success
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering in a program accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) or Bachelors degree in Engineering (non-ABET), with Professional Engineers (PE) license in any state of the U.S. or Bachelors degree in Engineering (non-ABET) independently evaluated and found to be equivalent to an engineering degree awarded by a regionally accredited college or university in the U.S.
Passed Fundamentals of Engineering examination in preparation for future licensing as a Professional Engineer (PE) is encouraged and preferred
4-6 years of experience in the field or in a related area
Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
