The Opportunity

We're looking for a Human Resources Coordinator, working in the Engineering/Manufacturing industry in Houston, Texas, United States.

  • Provide guidance, support and coordination in the consistent and effective application of policies, procedures and practices of the Human Resources department
  • Review human resources paperwork for accuracy and completeness by verifying, collecting and correcting additional data
  • Support human resources staff with new hire orientations and monthly departmental meetings
  • Gather personnel records from all employees from each department and enter personnel and subcontractor data into a central database
  • Update and record employee status changes, enter new employees, transfers, and data into company HRIS
  • Manage employee transactions for payroll and notify payroll of appropriate personnel changes

The pay range we're offering is 20 to 21 per hour. This position may present an opportunity to go permanent.

Experience Required for Your Success
  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • 3 to 6 years of progressive experience in a similar position
  • Experience in payroll, reporting, employee onboarding and Workforce Now
  • Experience in coordinating reports from accounting, benefits, and sales for HR purposes.
  • Experience with payroll software (ADP is preferred)
  • Recent experience with Workforce Now in the last 12 months is a plus
  • Ability to work onsite reliably Mondays to Fridays during core business hours in the NW Houston area
