We're looking for a Software Engineer, working in the Oil & Gas industry in Sugar Land, Texas, United States.
Implements operational workflows exposed via the acquisition software to integrated data and controls according to key defining system qualities such as reliability, performance and downstream systems inter-operability.
Ensures the design and implementation to satisfy key acquisition system responsibilities (reliability, performance, others as relevant).
Ensures integration and abstraction of hardware front-end and instrumentation during design and implementation phases.

Experience Required for Your Success
BS/MS/PhD in Science or Engineering with software experience or education
3-7 years experience in a similar position/s
C/C++/C#, COM experience
Unit testing frameworks experience
Visual Studio and VSTS experience
WITSML (Wellsite information transfer standard markup language), OPS, MODBUS, CAN software, TCP/IP, Energetics/ETP Standards experience
Knowledge of SCADA (Software Control And Data Acquisition) systems
Reliability, MTBF (Mean time between failures), MTTR (mean time to repair) knowledge
The pay range we're offering is 48 - 70 per hour. This position may present an opportunity to go permanent.
