The Opportunity

We're looking for a CMM Programmer, working in the Engineering/Manufacturing industry in Sterling Heights, Michigan, United States.

  • Developing operating programs to provide accurate dimensional reporting.
  • Performing review and evaluation of CMM holding fixtures, component part, and assembly inspection fixtures.
  • Completing detailed inspection plans documenting inspection results.
  • Performing and assisting with calibration of inspection fixtures, gauges, holding fixtures, tools, etc. per established schedules.
  • Cooperating with internal and external certification audits and customer audits.
  • Adhering to Team Handbook, Quality, Safety, and Environmental standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Assuring all safety devices are properly in place and utilized, Lockout/Tagout procedures are adhered to, PPE is worn correctly at all times, and reporting of any near-misses, injuries, or accidents occurs immediately.

The pay range we are offering is 50,000 to 60,000 per year.

Experience Required for Your Success
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • CMM Inspection and Programming experience required (PC DMIS latest version)
  • Experience in reading blueprints and full understanding of GD&T
  • Experience with inspecting formed sheet metal products
  • Ability to complete detailed inspection plans documenting inspection results
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Good organizational and documentation skills
  • Background in automotive and aerospace products preferred
