The Opportunity

We are looking for a Electrical Engineer, working in the Biotechnology/Medical Devices industry in South San Francisco, California, United States.

  • Design and build test setups for verification and characterization of electromechanical devices under general direction 
  • Perform tests, and provide written test reports 
  • Troubleshoot design prototypes

The pay range we are offering is 60 to 70 per hour. This position may present an opportunity to go permanent.

Experience Required for Your Success
  • BS Degree in electrical engineering with 2 years of experience 
  • Hands-on experience in building electromechanical set-ups and the use of test equipment and sensors with computer interface 
  • Strong communication skills both verbally and in writing. 
  • Ability to work independently on detail oriented projects. 
  • Experience in the use of various computer software programs such as Matlab, Python, and C, preferred
  • Ability to understand mechanical drawings, preferred
  • Experience with LabVIEW and NI data acquisition hardware, preferred
