We're looking for a Laboratory Technician, working in the Biotechnology/Medical Devices industry in Santa Clara, California, United States.
Prepares consumable devices for sequencing experiments using wet lab and good manufacturing techniques.
Follows appropriate safety procedures while handling hazardous chemicals such as hydrofluoric acid and ethanol.
Works in a clean room environment while adhering to PPE requirements
Assists engineers in the development and testing of prototypes or new processes.
Supports daily manufacturing operations including troubleshooting and resolving problems with equipment, devices or materials.
The pay range we are offering is 18 to 19 per hour. This position may present an opportunity to go permanent.

Experience Required for Your Success
AA or BS degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
1-3 years of relevant experience
Solid wet lab skills and experience
LEAN or 5S Manufacturing experience a plus
Experience following or developing QC procedures and parameters.
Meticulous attention to detail and excellent written and electronic record keeping skills.
Experience writing and following SOP's
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Experience working in a clean room, pilot plant or manufacturing facility.
