We're looking for a Scrum Master, working in the IT (excluding Telecommunication) industry in San Jose, California, United States.
Supports Agile scrum teams in all scrum ceremonies to deliver value.
Organizes and manages dependencies, highlights impacts and risks.
Communicates with internal and external stakeholders.
Develops newly defined plan to goal, organizes team, follows up and drives actions.
Resolves impediments or guides the teams to remove impediments by finding the right personnel to remove the impediment.
Manages risks; defines and follows through on risk mitigation plans.
Drives relentless improvement.
Supports and educates product owners, especially with respect to grooming, maintaining the product backlog, and definition of ready and definition of done.
Manages defect organization, communication, and improvement plans.
Owns and delivers metrics and reporting.
Facilitates brainstorming and solutioning of new processes and actions for relentless improvement.
Facilitates discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution.
Assists with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information.
Provides support to the team using a servant leadership style whenever possible, and leading by example.

Experience Required for Your Success
Experience with the Scrum Master role for at least two years for a software development team that was diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory.
First level Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I)
Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency
Knowledge of numerous well-documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach (example: numerous Burndown techniques, numerous Retrospective formats, handling defects, etc)
Must have strong skillset using: Jira, Confluence, Excel, Word, Powerpoint
Previous project management experience or experience with waterfall or hybrid approach
Excellent communication and mentoring skills
Strong desire to learn and grow
Flexibility – ability to absorb and pivot on change
