We're looking for a Desktop Technician, working in the Oil & Gas industry in San Antonio, Texas, United States.
Process incoming requests, inquiries, or escalations related to IT support issues.
Diagnose and resolve complex first tier issues involving end-user workstation, remote access, password management and general IT inquiries.
Answer service calls and emails.
Record and prioritize service requests and maintain ticket tracking for issues.
Direct requests to other areas in accordance with established guidelines.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve basic and complex issues regarding hardware and or software access, security, reliability, and performance issues.
Support Microsoft Office Suite Active Directory, and remote users.
The pay range we are offering is 21 to 22 per hour. This position may present an opportunity to go permanent.

Experience Required for Your Success
Minimum of 3 years of diversified technology support and troubleshooting experience required.
Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience supporting Windows OS WIN7/8, MS Office Suite, Active Directory, group policies, VB Scripting, and SCCM experience preferred.
Service Now ticketing system experience.
Advanced knowledge of Windows and Office (registry, group policy, services, BSOD debugging, bitlocker encryption).
