The Opportunity

We're looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer, working in the Education industry in Reston, Virginia, United States.

  • Develop and implement solutions, based on a set of standards, patterns, and processes that establish consistency across the enterprise data, reduce risk, and promote efficiencies in support of the organization’s goals and objectives.
  • Develop full-stack solutions and continuous delivery frameworks that improve the ability of the IT delivery teams to efficiently deliver solutions with quality.
  • Use metrics to establish the feasibility of new initiatives and develop plans, including budget, sequencing and time frames.

The pay range we are offering is 75 to 85 per hour. This position may present an opportunity to go permanent.

Experience Required for Your Success
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or MIS
  • 3+ years of experience in software systems
  • 3+ years demonstrated experience with full-stack JavaScript development
  • 2+ years hands-on experience with AWS Lambda, SNS/SQS, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, EC2, RDS, and DynamoDB, AWS CLI
  • Experience with AWS cloud supported programming languages like Java, Node JS, or Python development
  • Experience  with CI/CD toolsets such as Jenkins, Ansible, CloudFormation, or BitBucket
