The Opportunity

We're looking for a AWS Cloud Engineer, working in the Insurance industry in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, United States.

  • Work hand in hand with current principal engineer to build cloud native services deployed in AWS on top of a legacy application
  • Work with stakeholders and team members to develop enhancements in accordance with architectural technology standards
  • Analyze business requirements, create test scenarios and test cases, and execute functional, regression, and system tests
  • Mentor new and junior developers
  • Evaluate systems and make recommendations for improvements and solutions while bringing new ideas and improved technology to a legacy system and team

The pay we're offering is 90 per hour. This position may present an opportunity to go permanent.

Experience Required for Your Success
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in technical or business discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Generally, 5+ years of professional experience.
  • Proficiency in multiple programming languages and tools such as Python/Java/.NET
  • Cloud-based Web Service (AWS) and RESTful API experience
  • SQL proficiency
  • Knowledge of layered systems architectures and layered solutions and designs; understanding of shared software concepts.
  • Ability to operate within an agile team as well as flexibility to be working on multiple projects
