We're looking for a Staff Accountant, working in the Healthcare Systems & Services industry in Newton, Massachusetts, United States.
Ensures financial records are maintained in compliance with GAAP and company policies
Prepares and posts journal entries for the month-end and quarter-end financial close
Reviews the statement of operations for each assigned cost center, records accruals and reclassifications and makes adjustments to journal entries as needed
Maintains the general ledger for assigned cost centers
Prepares monthly reconciliations and related supporting work papers, for areas such as cash, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, intercompany and accrued liabilities
Coordinates and communicates with community leaders on the status of the close, results of financial analysis throughout the month and quarter-end close
Maintains and updates fixed assets sub-ledger
Assists in supporting the internal and external audit processes

The pay range we are offering is 70,000 to 75,000 per year.

Experience Required for Your Success
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Accounting/Finance
1 to 3 years Public Accounting experience.
Inquisitive and eager to learn, develop and continuously improve within a large team setting
Accounting operations and/or public accounting audit experience
Mid-size to large SEC registrants
