The Opportunity

We're looking for a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager, working in the Healthcare Systems & Services industry in Newton, Massachusetts, United States.

  • Conducting quantitative analysis of information affecting multiple aspects of the company.
  • Informing on strategic decisions by analyzing financial information to forecast future business conditions.
  • Conducting ROI analysis on initiatives and works to ensure ROI’s are achieved.
  • Presenting analysis that keeps business stakeholders informed.
  • Establishing and maintaining key performance indicators and engaging to communicate their performance to affect desired outcomes.
  • Guiding financial decisions by monitoring and enforcing policies and procedures.
  • Providing status of financial condition of the company by collecting, interpreting and reporting key financial data.
  • Managing budgets and controls expenses effectively thru partnership with key stakeholders.
  • Taking corrective action as necessary on a timely basis and in accordance with company policy.
  • Consulting with Human Resources as appropriate.
  • Keeping up-to-date information and leveraging the best use of technology affecting functional area(s) to increase innovation and ensure compliance.
  • Creating new reports and models in Adaptive Insights as part of being a critical member of the annual budget process.
  • Assisting in preparation of senior management and Board meeting materials.
  • Attending operations and inter-departmental meetings.
  • Maintaining and annual upgrading of forecasting models.
  • Assisting with Capital Expenditures budgets to prepare capital forecast / proformas.
  • Collaborating with others to gather forecast updates.
  • Maintaining forecast updates for new and ongoing projects.

The pay we are offering is 110,000 per year.

Experience Required for Your Success
  • Bachelor’s degree or post graduate degree in Finance, Business, Economics or related fields
  • 5+ years of experience in finance, operations, and/or business information systems experience
  • Senior living industry, hospitality industry or multi-family residential property experience with significant level of responsibility and accountability for goal achievement is preferred, but not required
  • Multi-unit organization experience is preferred
  • Strong analytical, innate problem solving and self-management skills, communications, planning and organizational skills
  • Excellent ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize activities
  • Excellent presentation skills with ability to develop and deliver effective presentations to a variety of audiences
  • Advanced computer skills and technical proficiency to include a thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook), with an emphasis on advanced MS Excel functions, AIS and reporting tools
  • Understanding of how business information systems work
