We're looking for a Web/UX Designer, working in the Banking/Finance industry in New York, New York, United States.
Craft intuitive and elegant experiences based on UX best practices.
Understand and uncover the needs of each audience to ensure the product is aligned to the right strategic direction.
Create and present a variety of UX/UI assets (sketches, user flows, wireframes & prototypes) iteratively while confidently articulating the rationale for your designs.
Lead conversations with business stakeholders to educate and build consensus around specific solutions, challenging assumptions as needed.
Deliver specifications that comply with existing design language including: color palette usage, branding, imagery, layout, and typography.
Practice inclusive design; designing for equity and accessibility.
Manage multiple projects at one time, switching focus between projects as required to manage priorities.
Design and deliver responsive/adaptive solutions that are optimized for web and mobile interfaces, and partner with engineers to translate designs into successful products.
Contribute to broader UX design team strategy for projects by making recommendations on improving the design system, consisting of components and UI patterns.
The pay we are offering is 59 per hour. This position may present an opportunity to go permanent.

Experience Required for Your Success
5+ years of experience as a key member of a design team, as well as experience working directly with stakeholders, senior management, and development teams
Experience leading UX strategy for multiple shipped digital products from research and concept design, to detailed design in an Agile process
Experience working in financial services or comparable industries designing complex digital products with data visualizations and dashboards
Demonstrate proficiency in balancing user goals, technology needs, and business objectives
Extensive knowledge of wireframing and prototyping tools such as Sketch, InVision, Figma, and Adobe Xd
Experience in user testing and usability analysis
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
A strong portfolio with examples clearly showing how your design solutions solved business & user needs along with solid process and thinking
Comfort with executing designs with minimal information and/or overall understanding of project, and minimal oversight
Experience working with and working on an existing design system
