We are looking for a SQL Developer, working in the Banking/Finance industry in New York, New York, United States.
Design, develop, test, tune, and implement database objects and any supporting scripts like stored procedures, views, functions, data manipulation scripts and ETL.
Assist developers with complex query tuning and refinement.
Design databases and queries to optimize performance and scalability.
Implement and upgrade databases, automation of data quality rules, naming conventions, optimized queries and indexing.
Maintain and enhance the database schema and ETL processes related to the firm’s reporting applications.
Develop, implement, and maintain change control and testing processes for modifications to databases.
Maintain technical documentation and data dictionary as system modifications are made.
The pay range we are offering is 75 to 80 per hour. This position may present an opportunity to go permanent.

Experience Required for Your Success
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or relevant concentration
5+ years of hands-on experience with SQL and Oracle database development experience
5+ years of hands-on experience with SQL Server 2008/2012/2014
4+ years of hands-on experience working with relational databases, data warehouse, and operational data store design, for Business Intelligence Applications
4+ years of hands-on experience with T-SQL performance tuning techniques
5+ years of hands-on experience with SQL Server SSIS/SSRS and Pentaho is preferred
