We're looking for a Research Associate II, working in the Pharmaceuticals & Medical Products industry in New Haven, Connecticut, United States.
Executes in vivo studies to explore mechanisms of action, PK/PD relationships of compounds, and proof of concept studies.
Performs specialized in vivo imaging techniques to innovate discovery research, accelerate development timelines and improve clinical translatability.
Designs, develops and conducts novel in vitro/ex vivo assays (plate-based assays, enzymatic assays, etc) as required.
Contributes to writing protocols, study design, data reporting and result interpretation.
The pay range we are offering is 31 to 36 per hour. This position may present an opportunity to go permanent.

Experience Required for Your Success
BS 2-5 years or MS 0-2 years of experience in the development and utilization of in vivo models in an academic, medical or pharmaceutical/biotechnology environment.
Must have experience with in vivo handling procedures including restraint, injections (i.v., i.p., s.c., i.m.), gavage, bleeding and anesthetics required.
Must have experience with dissection and tissue harvesting and processing.
