The Opportunity

We're looking for a Staff Accountant, working in the Banking/Finance industry in Nashville, Tennessee, United States.

  • Prepares various monthly journal entries in conformance to company policy and GAAP
  • Prepares and analyzes daily matching reports with other related party offices and resolves discrepancies
  • Prepares and responds to monthly confirmations from other related party offices
  • Prepares and analyzes monthly inter-company reconciliations
  • Assists manager with preparing schedules for balance sheet review
  • Prepares inter-company related treasury schedule for reporting
  • Works with client business management monthly receivable invoices to other offices
  • Maintains checklist for tracking of payable invoices
  • Assists collections team in preparation of foreign contracts/agreements
  • Participates in year end, interim and internal audits
  • Assists manager with special projects

Experience Required for Your Success
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 1 to 2 years relevant work experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office especially with higher level Excel functionality
  • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with a wide range of people
  • Excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment; must be a self-starter
