Android Application Developer Support

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Android Application Developer Support, working in the IT (excluding Telecommunication) industry in Mountain View, California, United States.

  • Help debug and triage issues that are reported by Android developers.
  • Understand Android technologies (i.e. API, SDK, Java, Relevant hardware) and identify the root cause of the reported issues.
  • Resolve technical issues at root cause: Identify and document bugs and feature requests affecting developers; implement effective solutions to their problems along business-appropriate time lines.
  • Troubleshoot and identify the root cause and possible solutions for technical issues that are reported by Android app developers.
  • Analyze the patterns of issues and effectively communicate that with internal stakeholders.

The pay range we are offering is 40 to 46 per hour. This position may present an opportunity to go permanent.

Experience Required for Your Success
  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science and/ or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of Android and Java experience in technical support and engineering.
  • Experience working with Android APIs
  • Experience with Java programming and Linux
  • Experience with Android programming is a plus
  • Experience with debugging and triage technical issues that are reported by external parties
  • Experience in technical support, bug triage and project management
