Warehouse Material Handler / Forklift Operator

The Opportunity

We're looking for a Warehouse Material Handler / Forklift Operator, working in the Advanced Electronics industry in Monee, Illinois, United States.

  • Operate mobile equipment to move inventory in warehouse areas and load/unload shipping/delivery trucks.
  • Use a warehouse management system to manage the various jobs that need to be completed each day 
  • Help maintain department inventory accuracy at 98% or better.
  • Perform cycle counts according to company standards.
  • Pick and put-away material from/to rack locations.
  • Prepare shipments by packaging, weighing, scanning, labeling, wrapping/banding pallets or other related duties.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties to keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards
  • Cross-train and perform other related duties as assigned by management.
  • Have an attitude of "safety & Quality first" while performing job functions
  • Take appropriate actions if any action is observed where safety or quality standards are at risk.

The pay range we are offering is 33,280 to 37,440 per year.

Experience Required for Your Success
  • Forklift certification or ability to obtain
  • 2+ years of previous forklift experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment 
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time - about 90% of the scheduled day
  • Willing and able to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing safety Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Good oral & written communication skills in English
