The Opportunity

We're looking for an E&C Engineer IV, working in the Electric Power & Natural Gas industry in Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States.

  • Handles designing, modeling, development and testing of a machine, structure or system.
  • Develops functional requirements.
  • Creates simulations and prototypes to evaluate preliminary designs and tests how a machine, structure or system operates.
  • Designs and tests components, and integrates components to produce final product.  
  • Monitors quality of products and controls the efficiency of processes.  
  • Evaluates a design's overall effectiveness, cost, reliability, and safety.  
  • Investigates root causes of failures to maintain quality and recommend improvements.
  • Provides critical project engineering activities to support in progress and developing wind and solar projects.
  • Reviews and creates SOWs, specifications, and designs documents.
  • Supports timely resolution of RFIs and technical issues encountered in active projects.

The pay we are offering is 53 per hour. This position may present an opportunity to go permanent.

Experience Required for Your Success
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from an ABET accredited school is required
  • Experience with wind turbine foundations, solar site development, preparation and review of technical specifications are required
  • Professional Engineer certification is preferred
