The Opportunity

We're looking for a Laboratory Technician, working in the Oil & Gas industry in Midland, Texas, United States.

  • Directs and performs verifiable quality assurance tests on company products.
  • Prepares laboratory reports prior to service delivery on location.
  • Provides advanced technical support with additive selection and the design of stimulation and/or cementing fluids.
  • Supervises and mentors personnel and maintains links with the Client Support Labs and/or Operating districts.
  • Serves as an expert in testing and fluid selection.
  • Performs advanced additive selection and design of fluids in assigned sub segment and recommends solutions to improve the process.
  • Monitors the operation, maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
  • Performs regular audits to ensure the laboratory is operating as per the required standards, prepares and follows up on the action plans as a result of the audit.

The pay we are offering is 19 per hour. This position may present an opportunity to go permanent.

Experience Required for Your Success
  • High School Diploma or GED is required (2-year degree in Chemistry or Science is preferred)
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience is preferred
