The Opportunity

We're looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse, working in the Healthcare Systems & Services industry in Madison, North Carolina, United States.

  • Participates in planning and implementing care under supervision of RN.
  • Provides care utilizing infection control measures that protect both staff and patient.
  • Provides safe, compassionate nursing care to include checking vital signs, collecting lab specimens, administering medications, changing bandages, and other care as directed.
  • Creates accurate and timely documentation of care and other appropriate information on charts.
  • Observes and reports, when required, resident reactions and changes in condition, takes and records vital signs as needed.

The pay range we are offering is 24 to 29 per hour. This position may present an opportunity to go permanent.

Experience Required for Your Success
  • Experience in Geriatrics and LTC (Long Term Care)
  • Current Licensed Practical Nurse Certification
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • Proficient with EMRs, excellent bedside manner and communication skills
  • Working knowledge of health care laws and regulations
  • PCC (PointClickCare) experience preferred
  • Open to full time and part time roles
  • Flexibility in work schedules (schedule preferences can be discussed)
