We're looking for a Senior Procurement Analyst – R&D Procurement, working in the Pharmaceuticals & Medical Products industry in Madison, New Jersey, United States.
Provides analytical support, assisting with audit readiness activities, drafting and negotiating contracts as needed.
Works closely with the Executive Director, R&D Procurement, R&D Procurement leadership team, and other members of the R&D Procurement team.
Provides high quality analytics and support for sourcing activities and spend management
Develops custom analytical reports to enable category teams to complete business requirements development, spend analysis, and supplier risk assessment.
Supports the R&D Procurement team in all audit and inspection-related activities.

Experience Required for Your Success
Bachelors Degree; Paralegal certificate preferred
Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant sourcing and contracting experience is required (or appropriate combination of education and experience).
Demonstrable understanding of the end-to-end sourcing and contracting process.
Strong organizational skills, the ability to multi-task, be detail oriented, and be able to set and manage priorities.
Understanding of business and legal terms related to sourcing/contract matters.
Analytical and contract negotiation skills.
Ability to interact effectively with various departments such as Procurement, Finance, and Legal.
Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
Demonstrate self-awareness, embraces feedback, and has an appropriate sense of urgency.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong internal and external negotiation skills and ability to influence.
Expert grasp of contracting concepts and strong analytical skills.
SharePoint, Salesforce, and workflow/database programs experience strongly desired.
