The Opportunity

We're looking for a HR Generalist, working in the Staffing/Recruiting industry in Louisville, Kentucky, United States.

  • Consults with branch management and provides HR guidance when appropriate.
  • Maintains personnel files in compliance with applicable legal requirements.
  • Manages and resolves employee relations issues
  • Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
  • Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
  • Maintains HRIS systems and ensures data accuracy at all times and audits consistently
  • Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
  • Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation for their partners
  • Maintains HR data in various systems.
  • Keeps employee records up to date by processing employee status changes in timely fashion.
  • Creates reports and maintains data as requested for leadership and VP HR
  • Processes personnel action forms and ensures proper approvals; disseminates approved forms.
  • Provides day to day HR administrative team support
  • Supports miscellaneous projects, employee engagement, events, etc. as requested

The pay range we're offering is 60,000 to 80,000 per year.

Experience Required for Your Success
  • BS/BA degree from an accredited college/university preferred
  • Min 5 years’ experience in HR Admin, or business partner role
  • Preferable experience in Light industrial, HR/Operations or staffing
  • SHRM certification preferred
  • Working knowledge of multiple HR disciplines including, employee relations, performance management, federal and state respective employment laws, organizational design, etc.
  • Elevated level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Extreme attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines, ability to multi-task
  • Excellent spelling, grammar and written communication skills
  • Excellent telephone and oral communication skills
