We're looking for a Stamping Maintenance Worker, working in the Manufacturing industry in Lincoln, Nebraska, United States.
Actively seek input from equipment users, process techs, and engineers to ensure existing equipment is operating with no downtime and high efficiencies.
Proactively seek out opportunities to resolve systemic problems and identify cost-saving ideas; communicate and recommend repairs to the maintenance team.
Work closely with engineering and process techs to assist in the implementation of large-scale projects including design and fabrication of basic components, design, and programming of electronic controls including PLC’s.
Conduct daily walkthroughs of stamping equipment and perform daily housekeeping in shop and work areas.
Repair and maintain machinery and equipment such as Stamping presses, take-ups, decoilers, and straighteners.
Maintain a safe work environment and good housekeeping practices.
Repair or replace control devices such as switches, photo eyes, proximity sensors, pushbuttons, contactors, etc. as required.
Perform preventative, predictive and emergency work order repairs, inspections and adjustments.
Apply quality principles to all activities to ensure customer satisfaction.
Use appropriate safety equipment, LOTO procedures and promote safety among co-workers.
The pay we are offering is 35 per hour. This position may present an opportunity to go permanent.

Experience Required for Your Success
2-year degree in technical area and 2 years industrial maintenance experience OR 4 years experience in industrial maintenance field with experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics and basic electrical repair
2 years experience in industrial maintenance
Experience in the operation of stamping equipment is an asset
Basic machine shop and fabrication skills
Basic knowledge of AC/DC principles including the knowledge to use a multi-meter for electrical troubleshooting
Proven welding skills
Demonstrated ability to use Precision Measuring Equipment (PME) such as torque wrenches, micrometers & calipers
Competent in decision-making
Proven track record of adherence to safety regulations
Ability to communicate and work effectively in a team-based environment
Willing to work on a rotating weekend schedule as required
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
