The Opportunity

We're looking for a Phlebotomist, working in the Healthcare Systems & Services industry in Lakewood, California, United States.

  • Perform Covid-19 testing (antibody test)
  • Process results for Covid-19 using Sofia Machine and Abbott ID machine
  • Assist provider
  • Prepare patients before drawing blood
  • Draw blood from patients with minimal or no complications
  • Explain blood draw procedures to patients and answer any questions about the process
  • Verify patient information and label blood samples properly
  • Perform other duties assigned

The pay we are offering is 20 per hour. This position may present an opportunity to go permanent.

Experience Required for Your Success
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Phlebotomy: 1 year experience (Preferred)
  • Customer Service: 1 year experience (Preferred)
  • Current California Phlebotomy License
  • Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT1)
  • Ability to successfully draw blood from patients with minimal or no complications
  • Highly organized and self-motivated
  • Ability to work independently on assigned projects
  • Ability to prioritize tasks based on importance and deadlines
  • Must be flexible and be able to adapt to a changing work environment
  • Ability to be discrete and maintain patient confidentiality
  • Excellent verbal and written communication via email and in-person
