The Opportunity

We're looking for a CNC Automation Technologist, working in the Oil & Gas industry in Katy, Texas, United States.

  • Tends to a fully automated CNC and robotic manufacturing cell.
  • Keeps all machines fully loaded and running.
  • Sets up of parts and work offsets.
  • Exchanges fixture elements and work piece locators.
  • Performs quality checks.
  • Clears machine alarms, troubleshoots and restarts machinery.
  • Identifies each operation required to manufacture a part.
  • Investigates dimensional problems and makes process adjustments to correct.
  • Troubleshoots various PLC controlled machines and robotic processes such as deburring, painting, sandblast, autofrettage, assembly, etc.
  • Troubleshoots CNC programs, machine setups and processes parameters.

The pay range we are offering is 25 to 35 per hour. This position may present an opportunity to go permanent.

Experience Required for Your Success
  • Associate's Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Science, Computing, Mathematics or other relevant technical discipline is preferred.
  • 1 year of experience in horizontal mill is required.
  • 5 years hands-on CNC machining, cellular or robotic automation experience is preferred.
