The Opportunity

We're looking for a Loan Originator, working in the Financial Services industry in Jacksonville, Florida, United States.

  • Originates first home mortgages and refinance loans by responding to company-provided leads via phone in a timely manner from internet, direct mail campaigns, referrals or other special marketing campaigns.
  • Provides superior customer service skills by responding to company-provided leads in a timely manner from internet, direct mail campaigns, radio ads, referrals or other special marketing campaigns.
  • Originates first home mortgages and refinance loans.
  • Engages with consumers, determines their needs and offers the appropriate products.
  • Takes mortgage loan applications by phone and prepare effective loan proposals.
  • Obtains all necessary information to close the loan in a timely manner, including but not limited to credit reports, income verification, appraisals, lien searches, etc.
  • Meets individual monthly sales goals.
  • Stays informed of developing trends in the mortgage industry.

The pay range we are offering is 26,000 to 30,000 per year.

Experience Required for Your Success
  • Origination experience in the mortgage or banking industry
  • Experience in originating a loan in the past three months
  • Multiple mortgage licenses
  • Experience using persuasive and selling communication skills
  • Experience in the maintenance of mortgage licenses by completing mandatory annual continuing education
  • Solid understanding of appraisals, title reports and product guidelines
  • Ability to connect quickly with people in an outgoing, friendly manner
  • Work efficiently and accurately with proven success in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with demonstrated, careful decision-making skills
  • Working independently with minimal supervision
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to pass background check for state licensing
