The Opportunity

We're looking for a Business Analyst, working in the Banking/Finance industry in Jacksonville, Florida, United States.

  • Analyze, document and make recommendations for changes to existing or new business processes to senior management or external clients.
  • Lead short and long-term projects.
  • Serve as a liaison with vendors and the technology organization for issues of technology builds or technology support.
  • Make decisions on behalf of the business for projects and issues.
  • Investigate system related issues and identify solutions with internal teams and vendor.
  • Lead the testing of new features/functions.
  • Lead process redesign reviews and initiatives.
  • Provide project support, as assigned, working with Project Managers in SME capacity to implement new project requests.
  • Analyze project requests or proposals and make recommendations for changes or enhancements to make more efficient or change to work
    more effectively with existing code.
  • Maintain communication lines with all interested parties to keep them informed and to
    escalate appropriately for issues, initiatives, or process changes.
  • Work with new clients, technology, and internal teams to establish robust payment methods using industry standards (NACHA, EDI, etc.)
  • Assist clients by identifying and solving payment related issues (file formatting, missing/incorrect data) – may include navigating TSYS (TS1),
    SAR reports, databases, and datasets.
  • Work with global partners to evaluate best practices, implement global solutions, and provide support as needed.
  • Collaborate with Commercial clients to develop and execute technical solutions that are aligned with business strategies.
  • Manage a queue of 30+ technical integration projects concurrently.
  • Work with internal teams to investigate customer data integrity issues and provide support for resolution if necessary.

The pay we are offering is 27 per hour. This position may present an opportunity to go permanent.

Experience Required for Your Success
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in relevant field
  • Proficient in Windows and MS Office Suite
  • Past experience interacting with corporate and government clients, senior management
  • Ability to ascertain the intricacies of complex system to system data mapping
  • 3 years minimum TSYS TS1/TS2 application knowledge and experience (preferred)
  • Knowledge of Mainframe transmission protocols (preferred)
  • Knowledge of accounting practices, such as ledger reconciliation and accounting string set up (preferred)
  • Experience interacting with expense management providers, i.e. Concur (preferred)
