The Opportunity

We're looking for a Mechanical Assembler, working in the Oil & Gas industry in Houston, Texas, United States.

  • Verifies proper components are received per work order’s pick list before building.
  • Assembles components of all Product Lines.
  • Selects correct tools and fixtures.
  • Reads blueprints; identifies components; uses pertinent hand tools and rework techniques; operates equipment, and handles dimensioning and setting tolerances of mechanical parts and assemblies.
  • Creates labor records for all transactions.
  • Uses the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement.
  • Tests assembled products.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves problems associated with the assembly and testing of products.

The pay we are offering is 27 per hour. This position may present an opportunity to go permanent.

Experience Required for Your Success
  • HS Diploma or GED is required
  • 4-5 years of related experience is preferred
  • Ability to read blueprints; identify components; and operate equipment (dimensioning and setting tolerances of mechanical parts and assemblies) is required
  • Familiar with using different manufacturing applications and be able to navigate simple software are required
  • Familiarity with process documentation is required
