We're looking for a Tube Bender, working in the Engineering/Manufacturing industry in Hayward, California, United States.
Independently set up and operate manual and/CNC tubing benders to produce high purity gas lines per engineering drawing specifications.
Interpret engineering drawings and setup the bender with the required tooling.
Operate a Di-Acro manual tube bender.
Use measuring tools such as calipers and height gauges to inspect parts to the required dimensions and tolerances.
Collaborate with engineers, production personnel, programmers, maintenance or others to resolve fabrication issues.
Provide training to other team members.
Perform other duties as assigned.
The pay range we are offering is 25 to 30 per hour. This position may present an opportunity to go permanent.

Experience Required for Your Success
High school diploma
2 to 3 years minimum related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
Previous experience operating a Di-Acro manual bender is preferred.
Ability to setup and operate a manual tube bender.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample part to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work piece, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.
Understanding of basic GD&T principles.
Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts such multiplication and trigonometry as fabrication requires.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Ability to work with team members.
Ability to take direction from supervisor.
Ability to keep required job schedules.
Ability to focus attention on details.
