Material Handler

The Opportunity

We're looking for a Material Handler, working in the Manufacturing industry in Hayward, California, United States.

• Transports materials from designated areas to/from production floor using forklift and/or other conveyance methods.
• Prepares outgoing materials using a variety of methods and equipment, including, but not limited to, scanning, labeling, wrapping/packaging etc
• Assesses material needs for assigned Production area(s) throughout the shift and pulls materials using an information system to support the production schedule.
• Performs general housekeeping of work area.
• Follows the safety rules and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

The pay we are offering is 18 per hour. This position may present an opportunity to go permanent.

Our Client

Experience Required for Your Success

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred
• 6 months related production experience and/or working in a fast paced environment either training or equipment combination
• Basic Proficiency in computer
• Forklift certification; periodic re-certification required
• Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly
