The Opportunity

We're looking for a Machine Operator, working in the Manufacturing industry in Hayward, California, United States.

  • Meets the expectations and standardized work to complete all tasks at assigned machine or operation.
  • Communicates, detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the Production Supervisor, Cell Lead, or Switch.
  • Sorts, reworks and inspects the products for reject and non-conformance; packages finished products.
  • Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations; follows 5s-cleans and organizes designated area(s) on a daily basis.
  • Makes suggestions on improvements for standardized work/other plant operations.
  • Follows all safety procedure and participates in safety programs; follows all PPE requirements-proper gowning and attire.

The pay range we are offering is 15 to 17 per hour. This position may present an opportunity to go permanent.

Experience Required for Your Success
  • High School education; HS or General Education Degree (GED) preferred
  • Familiar with basic machine functions in order to perform the required operator / assembly tasks
  • Ability to use cutters, blades or fixtures to rework or assemble parts
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Basic English Communication Skills (Oral and Written)
  • Accountability, Active Listening, Assertiveness, Adaptability, Accuracy, Integrity, Problem Solving, Safety Awareness, Working Under Pressure, Attention to Detail
  • Willing to work in a fast paced environment
