Develop and implement software of embedded devices and systems.
Develop, code, test, and troubleshoot the system software.
Analyze, monitor, and improve efficiency and stability of the system.
Support software quality assurance and optimize I/O performance.
Evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria.

Experience Required for Your Success
BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related subject.
Minimum seven years total experience in embedded software engineering or similar role.
Minimum five years with development and diagnosis of embedded targets.
Proven working experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting UNIX/Linux/Windows based environments.
Experience with software configuration management tools and defect tracking tools.
Solid experience in the administration and performance tuning of application stacks
Solid cloud experience, preferably in AWS/Google cloud.
Experience with remote equipment monitoring systems.
Experience with automation software Solid scripting skills (bash/Python).
Solid networking knowledge (TCP/IP).
Proven analytical/problem solving skills.
Capable of design and development, selection and testing of hardware/software, preparation of specifications, research investigations, and report preparation with support/direction of a higher level engineer.
