The Opportunity

We're looking for a Plant Operator, working in the Oil & Gas industry in Geismar, Louisiana, United States.

  • Blends and manufactures finished products, quality tests of finished products, proper documentation, packages of finished products, stocks finished product in the stock location, and maintains awareness of environmental and health safety. 
  • Coordinates the shipping and receiving of finished products and raw materials, maintains quality control and documentation of products received.
  • Creates proper paperwork and loads materials on the truck according to D.O.T. regulations. 
  • Loads and unloads trailers and chemicals. 
  • Trains new plant operators on their job responsibilities, functions, procedures, and safety. 
  • Organizes products and maintains the cleanliness of the facility and yard by keeping it free from dirt and debris. 
  • Acts as a primary link for communication between the plant operators and management and monitors inventory control measures. 
  • Participates in the on-call rotation for all after hour deliveries and receives additional compensation for on-call hours. 

The pay we're offering is 15 per hour. This position may present an opportunity to go permanent.
