The Opportunity

We're looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist, working in the Electric Power & Natural Gas industry in Gahanna, Ohio, United States.

  • Manages full life-cycle recruiting: recruiting, screening, recommending placement of, and onboarding staff.
  • Partners with the Hiring Manager and HR Business Partner to determine staffing needs.
  • Screens resumes, interviews candidates (by phone or in-person), administers appropriate testing and reference/background checking, makes recommendations for hire (or not hire), and delivers employment offers for both exempt and nonexempt position openings within an assigned territory.
  • Uses traditional and nontraditional resources, such as career fairs, online job fairs, community network events, etc., to identify and attract quality candidates.

The pay range we are offering is 25 to 27 per hour. This position may present an opportunity to go permanent.

Experience Required for Your Success
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource management or related field
  • 3 years of corporate experience in recruitment and placement of applicants in professional and management level exempt positions, including 1 year of knowledge and experience working with electronic applicant systems and internet recruiting sources
  • Valid driver’s license
