We're looking for a CNC Lathe Machinist III, working in the Light Industrial industry in Fremont, California, United States.
Produces machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies.
Interprets engineering drawings and performs defined manufacturing processes.
Edits programs as required or directed.
Carries out inspection plans.

Experience Required for Your Success
6 years experience in lathe setup
Extensive knowledge and ability in interpreting engineering drawings and carrying out defined manufacturing processes
Proficient with machine setup and design standards for precision parts, manual-machining experience is a plus
Capable of running short and long cycle times effectively + run up to two machines at a time if needed
Demonstrated skills in tool selection and troubleshooting manufacturing issues
Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and written
Ability to use a variety of mechanical instruments and tools
Ability to understand schematics, component descriptions, symbols and designators
Good communication skills (verbal and written)
Good knowledge of hand measuring and inspection tools
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
