We're looking for a CNC Lathe Machinist III, working in the Light Industrial industry in Fremont, California, United States.

  • Produces machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies.
  • Interprets engineering drawings and performs defined manufacturing processes.
  • Edits programs as required or directed.
  • Carries out inspection plans.

Experience Required for Your Success
  • 6 years experience in lathe setup
  • Extensive knowledge and ability in interpreting engineering drawings and carrying out defined manufacturing processes
  • Proficient with machine setup and design standards for precision parts, manual-machining experience is a plus
  • Capable of running short and long cycle times effectively + run up to two machines at a time if needed
  • Demonstrated skills in tool selection and troubleshooting manufacturing issues
  • Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and written
  • Ability to use a variety of mechanical instruments and tools
  • Ability to understand schematics, component descriptions, symbols and designators
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Good knowledge of hand measuring and inspection tools 
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
