We're looking for an Associate Director of Value & Access Strategy for Gastroenterology, working in the Biotechnology/Medical Devices industry in Foster City, California, United States.
Support the development of Global Value and Access (V&A) strategy and plans for the client's products/indications, aligned with overall product strategy, to maximize product value and ensure optimal access.
Support payer and competitive research to understand value perception, landscape, evolving trends, value drivers and test value messages.
Participate in defining evidence needs to support price/access across priority markets, developing integrated evidence generation strategies and plans, and building evidence, materials, and negotiation support needed for a successful launch.
Support the development of value optimizing pricing strategies and global pricing policies, global pricing goals and principles, and implementation of pricing activities consistent with strategy.
Support the definition of V&A stakeholder engagement priorities and plans across key markets, consistent engagement timelines and messaging, global interaction objectives and tools for communication with external stakeholders and monitor stakeholder engagement activities.
The pay we are offering is 120 per hour. This position may present an opportunity to go permanent.

Experience Required for Your Success
BS/BA degree required (MBA and/or advanced degree in Life Sciences or medical degree preferred)
10 years of experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry in market access-related activities
General understanding of global payer environment, including coverage and reimbursement, pricing and contracting, formulary management, HTA, and payment policy
Understanding of strategic pricing, contracting and negotiation
Experience with market access launch planning and execution
Experience building a value story, brand positioning and messaging preferred
