The Opportunity

We're looking for a Business Consultant, working in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry in Dunedin, Florida, United States.

  • Performs all tasks in a safe manner to ensure achievement of objectives.
  • Generates and reviews daily/weekly/monthly safety reports for management with corrective action.
  • Conducts weekly/monthly program specific inspections and develops corrective actions.
  • Aids in the development, implementation, and/or filing of all safety and environmental related documentation and programs.
  • Develops and delivers presentations for safety and environmental training.
  • Assists in documentation for regulatory agencies.
  • Performs safety and environmental related audits and inspections.

The pay range we are offering is 29 to 41 per hour. This position may present an opportunity to go permanent.

Experience Required for Your Success
  • 2 years educational background in safety, environmental or related field is required (Bachelor's degree is preferred)
  • 2-3 years in safety/environmental or related work experience is required
  • Experience with environmental and safety reporting is required
  • Experience in manufacturing environment is preferred
  • Experience with worker compensation processes is preferred
  • Proficient in reporting relationships
  • Intermediate knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power Point, and Microsoft Word is required
  • General knowledge and understanding of OSHA, EPA and other governmental regulations are required
  • Ability to read, write, speak and comprehend English is required
  • Ability to work on projects independently and under minimal supervision is required
  • Ability to demonstrate good attendance and work on all shifts and in extended hours are required
  • Ability to work with individuals and teams to manage and direct significant projects are required
  • Ability to train and mentor others is required
  • Physical agility including climbing, bending, kneeling, twisting, and lifting minimum of 50 lbs. is required
