We're looking for a Project Manager IV, working in the Electric Power & Natural Gas industry in Denver, Colorado, United States.
Provides strategic project management leadership for multiple, complex, high-voltage (69-500kV) transmission projects with total annual capital costs of $10 – 200 million.
Manages overall project scope, schedule, cost and risk management.
Manages team to achieve approved project scope, develops strategic sequencing and detailed milestone schedules, project-level cost tracking and reconciliation.
Coordinates development of detailed cost estimates, schedules and associated project contracts, etc.
Leads projects through all internal and external processes.
Manages the project scope, schedule and closely plans and manages all project costs.
Ensures availability or seeks out adequate resources for projects.
Leads and participates significantly in all state and local regulatory and permitting issues including PUC certificates and local land use or construction permits.
Prepares oral and written testimony and presentations related to these facilities.
Prepares regular executive reports and/or presentations related to project schedule and financial health.
Delegates and oversees work performed by Project Controls personnel on a daily basis.
The pay range we are offering is 71 to 78 per hour. This position may present an opportunity to go permanent.

Experience Required for Your Success
BS degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction, Business, or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred
2 years experience in project management with some formal project management training is required
1 year of engineering, project management or construction management related to high-voltage substation and/or transmission line experience or combination of experience providing equivalent knowledge is required
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred
