The Opportunity

We're looking for a Remote Mortgage Loan Processor, working in the Financial Services industry in Dallas, Texas, United States.

  • Processes mortgage loan applications in compliance with the company’s investor guidelines.
  • Collects and reviews loan documents to satisfy loan conditions as well as ensures completeness of mortgage loan documentation and meets department service and quality standards.
  • Prepares the loan file for underwriting review.
  • Prepares mortgage loan file by reviewing loan application; clarifies and obtains additional information.
  • Confirms mortgage loan application information by mailing verification forms and contacting verification sources.
  • Validates loans in automated underwriting systems including DU or LP and submit to Underwriting in required time frames
  • Ensures accurate, complete, and timely loan data on processing system.
  • Reviews exception reports to ensure all tasks are completed and loan is on target to meet closing expectations.
  • Communicates loan status to the borrower and the Loan Originator.

The pay range we are offering is 45,000 to 65,000 per year.

Experience Required for Your Success
  • High School diploma or GED is required
  • 3+ years of direct processing experience is preferred
  • Prior experience with automated underwriting (to include Freddie and Fannie) is required
  • Exceptionally strong analytical skills is required
  • Strong understanding of multiple investor guidelines is required
  • Strong problem solving and multi-tasking skills are required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required
