The Opportunity

We're looking for a Remote Mortgage Loan Closer/Funder, working in the Financial Services industry in Dallas, Texas, United States.

  • Monitors the pipeline of files due to fund.
  • Verifies closing verbal verification of employment is in the file and is within 10 days of the closing.
  • Communicates clearly with title companies and all pertinent parties involved in the transaction.
  • Works quickly on purchases, makes them a time priority due to parties waiting.
  • Follows up on missing items, collects them, and uploads them into the LOS system.
  • Communicates and works alongside post closing to ensure all trailing docs are received and shipped.
  • Communicates clearly to team members each day prior to leaving what may be missing so action can be taken in your absence.
  • Issues funding release numbers to title and documents such number within the LOS system.

The pay range we are offering is 42,000 to 65,000 per year.

Experience Required for Your Success
  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • 1 to 2 years of mortgage-related experience is required.
  • 1 to 2 years loan funding experience is preferred. 
  • Advanced computer and mathematical skills are required.
  • Experience with reading and interpreting insurance policies, tax information, prelims, appraisals and settlement statements are required.
