The Opportunity

We're looking for an Assembler, working in the Oil & Gas industry in City of Industry, California, United States.

  • Sets up new production work areas, including layouts, tooling and equipment setup, etc.
  • Assists with transition from development to production, including first articles.
  • Manufactures, assembles, and tests mechanical, fluid and electrical measurement equipment assemblies according to written procedures and engineering models, drawings, specifications and written procedures.
  • Interfaces with production leads, supervisors, manager and QA inspection to ensure timely customer delivery.
  • Troubleshoots, diagnoses, and corrects discrepancies by modification, rework, repair, and/or maintenance.
  • Performs root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for recurrence control.
  • Sets up and operates precision calibrated tools including but limited to, torque wrenches, gauges, etc.
  • Identifies and implements continuous improvement projects for area safety and efficiency.
  • Performs routine maintenance functions such as daily clean-up of work areas to support 6S and Lean initiatives.

The pay we are offering is 17 per hour. This position may present an opportunity to go permanent.

Experience Required for Your Success
  • High School diploma or GED is required
  • 3-5 years direct experience in industrial manufacturing, integration, or other relevant field is preferred
