The Opportunity

We're looking for a Cash Applications Specialist, working in the Financial Services industry in Chicago, Illinois, United States.

  • Reconciles customer accounts as needed.
  • Follows-up on credits and debits and processes adjustments. 
  • Performs heavy deductions work, including processing requests for credit, resolving deduction disputes, and requesting payments for invalid deductions.
  • Analyzes cash applications.
  • Performs some collections, mostly via email but also over the phone.

Experience Required for Your Success
  • High school diploma or GED required (College degree in Accounting/Finance preferred)
  • 1 year of relevant work experience
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
  • Experience using aging reports
  • Strong communication, organization and relationship skills
