We're looking for a Communication Specialist, working in the Electric Power & Natural Gas industry in Charlotte, North Carolina, United States.
Serves as communications consultant to manage Advertising, Brand and Creative projects to ensure work product is high quality, developed in a timely and cost-efficient manner and on strategy.
Supports the business by managing the production of direct mail, collateral, open house materials and website projects.
Develops and maintains strong relationships with key clients based on understanding their business, their goals, their customers and their issues.
Works with multiple teams such as the community outreach team, creative services team and print support team to ensure that direct mail and open house materials are developed in a timely and cost-efficient manner.
Follows defined workflow process.
The pay range we are offering is 26 to 27 per hour. This position may present an opportunity to go permanent.

Experience Required for Your Success
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Business, or related field or equivalent work experience.
1-3 years of account management, project management or direct mail management experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office products, such as Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel, as well as SharePoint.
Experience in producing direct mail and/or communications materials.
Ability to work closely with and resolve communications issues with key clients.
Ability to build, develop and maintain strong client relationships.
Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with a work management system (e.g., Workamajig).
General understanding of Kanban principles.
