We're looking for a Software Engineer, working in the Aerospace & Defense industry in Carrollton, Texas, United States.
Integrate new software features and products into the AIM Security System software portfolio.
Provide troubleshooting, debugging and fixing of software issues for new and existing projects.
Follow the company's current software development processes.
Maintain software development skills by participating in company-sponsored training classes.
Perform programming in C and C++ with an eventual move towards C#.
The pay we're offering is 42 per hour. This position may present an opportunity to go permanent.

Experience Required for Your Success
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical/Mechanical Engineering is required
3-5 years of experience in software development
Experience with issue trackings and code management tools such as JIRA and GIT
Proficiency in using Microsofts Visual Studio software development tools and services for developing software
Knowledge of standard networking protocols (TCP/IP), and network-based application protocols (HTTP, SQL, FTP, etc.) with practical experience/schooling in simple IP networking
Experience with using PC office applications like Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Experience with basic relational database concepts. (Tables, Rows, queries, etc)
Experience with Agile Scrum methodology
