The Opportunity

We're looking for an IT Desktop Analyst, working in the Oil & Gas industry in Carrollton, Texas, United States.

  • Troubleshoots and responds to service desk tickets for software and hardware issues, including remote support of PCs and peripherals in a networked environment. 
  • Escalates problems not resolved within established service levels. 
  • Follows-up with customers to ensure satisfactory incident closure, and updates and closes call records for work performed. 
  • Ensures work is performed in accordance with company policies, standards, and procedures. 
  • Assists with installing and de-installing software, PC's, and peripherals as required. 
  • Travels to Alvarado, TX one to two times a week and drives to remote sites - overnight stay or may include out-of-state travel.
  • Performs own work and provides assistance to others as directed.

The pay range we are offering is 24 to 26 per hour. This position may present an opportunity to go permanent.

Experience Required for Your Success
  • HS Diploma or GED is required.
  • 1 year related experience in desktop support in a Microsoft environment is required.
  • Basic desktop hardware knowledge is required.
  • Knowledge in PC OS, Software (Microsoft Office, PC/Printer/Network/Phone Hardware, Network topology, iOS, and Tickets processing (ServiceNow) are required.
  • Ability to climb ladders and lift 60 pounds - heavy desktops are required.
  • Ability to work in closed or small spaces - under desks and IT closet is required.
  • Ability to communicate fluently in person, via email or phone is required.
  • A+ certification is preferred.
  • Good driving record and license is required.
