The Opportunity

We're looking for a Scientist I, working in the Pharmaceuticals & Medical Products industry in Cambridge, Massachusetts, United States.

  • Prepares biological samples, maintains cell cultures, develops various biochemical and cellular assays to quantify target proteins and to study the mechanism of action of PROTAC molecules.
  • Applies bioanalytical and biophysical tools to characterize target proteins.
  • Records experimental results in an electronic notebook, makes a sound judgment on scientific merits and seeks advice when appropriate, and presents and defends his/her data at internal project meetings.

Experience Required for Your Success
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in biological science
  • At least 2 years experience in Biochemistry
  • Should have a good understanding of protein biochemistry.
  • Experience in developing biochemical assays (such as fluorescence-based assays) and know how to maintain cell cultures and conduct cellular-based assays.
  • Strong working knowledge in standard scientific graphing and curve-fitting software used for data analysis such as GraphPad Prism.
