Assistant Events Coordinator II

The Opportunity

We're looking for a Assistant Events Coordinator II, working in the Pharmaceuticals & Medical Products industry in Cambridge, Massachusetts, United States.

  • Coordinates details of events such as conferences, Ad Boards consulting meetings, charity events, preceptorships, seminars and business meetings.
  • Calculates budgets and ensures they are adhered to.
  • Books HCP/HCOs for events.
  • Visits venue to plan layout of seating and decorations.
  • Schedules speakers, vendors, and participants.
  • Coordinates and monitors event timelines and ensures deadlines are met.
  • Initiates, coordinates and/or participates in all efforts to publicize event.
  • Prepares presentations.
  • Negotiates and secures event space.

The pay range we're offering is 21 - 26 per hour. This position may present an opportunity to go permanent.

Experience Required for Your Success
  • BS/BA degree
  • Self-directed and can make decisions independently on problems of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires review and expertise
  • Attention to details as well as a strong ability for self-directed/proactive follow-up
  • Must be team-oriented with an ability to adapt to change and learn quickly
  • Strong organization and communication skills are essential as well as the ability to multi-task and react to assignments promptly
